Industrial Parks
Weber County features three existing parks that contain a variety of light manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, and service related companies. These include the Weber Industrial Park (WIP), the Ogden City Industrial Park (OCIP), and the Business Depot Ogden (BDO, formerly Defense Depot Ogden). These parks are in various stages of completion, with the BDO offering build-to-suit lease back provisions for their customers. With over 7 million square feet of existing space, and 500 developable acres, the BDO provides easy access to Interstate 15.
Both the WIP and the OCIP are nearer to build-out, and have existing buildings available from time to time.
Pleasant View Business Park
Located along I-15 in the northern section of Weber County, the PVBP is under final planning stages before construction of infrastructure improvements begins. This park contains over 200 acres, with two interstate access points, rail, and relatively flat terrain historically used for agriculture. The area is also an Economic Development Project Area administered by the Pleasant View City Redevelopment Agency, and Tax Increment Financing is available to qualified companies.
